About StoryFrame
The story
so far.
Twenty years of finding the right frame for stories on the web.
01 / The beginning
May
2005
The web was ready for a new frame.
StoryFrame launched in May 2005 — the same month a little startup called YouTube opened its doors. Web video wasn’t an industry yet; it was a bet. We made it early, and with a different purpose: while the web raced to upload clips, StoryFrame used video to present stories with intention — crafted, scored, narrated, and delivered for businesses with something worth saying. The stories already existed. Our work was giving them the right frame.
Twenty years later, that work has moved through every format the web has offered: podcasts, blogs, screencasts, live streams, and immersive interactive experiences. The formats keep changing. The principle has not: how a story is presented changes how it is experienced.
