A New Frame

Experimental StoryFrame logo

One of the new StoryFrame identity studies.

The formats are changing, and StoryFrame is changing with them.

We are experimenting with a new visual identity built around the idea of the frame: the shape that gives a story context, focus, and a place to be experienced. This is one direction under consideration.

The logo is new. The purpose behind it is familiar. StoryFrame brings picture, sound, and presentation together for delivery through the web.

Beyond the Desktop

A web experience no longer belongs to one screen.

Customers move between desktop computers, mobile devices, and iPad. Video and audio need to move with them. That means planning for different screen sizes, connection speeds, playback technologies, and ways of interacting.

StoryFrame produces and delivers video and audio experiences from planning and production through publishing on the web, mobile devices, and iPad. The goal is not simply to make a file play. It is to present the material well wherever the audience finds it.

What We Mean by an Experience

A video, podcast, or screencast is only one part of the presentation. The page around it, the way it begins, the supporting information, and the path an audience takes next all shape the experience.

  • WatchVideo, interviews, demonstrations, and screencasts.
  • ListenPodcasts, conversations, and on-demand audio.
  • ConnectWeb pages, mobile delivery, and direct subscriptions.

StoryFrame considers the complete frame: which format serves the material, how it should be produced, and how it will reach the audience.

StoryFrame in 2011

StoryFrame began with web video and has grown with every new way the web carries picture and sound. We provide consultation, recording, editing, sound mixing, compression, publishing, and integration for organizations that need to present material online.
